Jessie Moore is the founder of Eikon Leadership Group. Eikon Leadership Group is a faith-based company dedicated to helping others change. Mr. Moore has been in leadership for 25 plus years. He started his managerial experience in the restaurant industry and then transitioned into healthcare. Throughout his career, Mr. Moore has taught his team members to be the best leaders that they can be. Mr. Moore believes strongly in teamwork. He believes that behind every good leader, there is a good team.
Mr. Moore sees the value in all people. He believes that everyone has something to offer. Mr. Moore believes that everyone can dance; some just dance differently than others. He also believes that if you show them the steps, everyone can be on the same beat.
How leaders make their mistakes is, they want to have a team of people who look and act like them. If you do that, you will have a group of people like yourself with the same ideas, and it will be nothing different, and you will not see any changes. So leaders have to change their way of thinking. Leaders need to understand that there are no big I's and no little you's. He understands that all promotions come from up above.
Mr. Moore started this business because he has compassion for others to succeed, whether on the job or in life.
Over the years, Mr. Moore has learned that the only way a company can succeed is to include everyone and promote dialogue and social change.
Leaders can learn how to diversify their teams by including everyone. Leaders need to look outside the box. If investors can diversify their investments and it works, leaders can diversify their teams to make them work.
